Last year, around Joshua's birthday we bought him his first pair of "cowboy boots". Originally we went to the store looking for a new pair of shoes, but when he saw those boots, that was all he wanted. He was so very, very excited about them and wore them home from the store and then wore them everywhere!

Eventually as the weather warmed up, we convinced him to wear his crocs or tennis shoes, but he continued to wear those boots whenever he could. By early summer, he had really outgrown the boots, but would shove that little foot in and wear them anyways.
Last Friday night we went back to that same store to buy Joshua a new pair of boots. Sure enough the store had them and we bought them. (I know his foot really was shoved into the old pair because he went from an 8 last year to a 10 this year!) Again, he was so excited!

Oh, I LOVE the BOOTS too! He is too adorable in them...the people at church must have just eaten him up in them.
