Random question for the week....

Mommy: Why is there a rock in the bathtub?

Joshua: 'Cause it's the ocean. Aquaman lives in the ocean. (rolling his eyes, like, why don't you know this mom?)

Mary Kay - Helping Hands for Haiti

Mary Kay has donated $100,000 to Haiti, but our unit wants to do more. For every Satin Hand Cream purchased, we will donate $1 to the Red Cross. The theme is "Lend a Helping Hand with Hand Cream." In addition, for every hand cream purchased by my friends or family members, I will match the $1 donation. It retails for $8. This would be a great gift for moms, wives, sisters, daughters. Send me a message and let me know how many hand creams you would like to purchase.

Thanks for lending a helping hand!

Cowboy hats, pajamas, and the end of a long week

So much for starting off the year with a bang....well, we got the bang this week. Joshua came down with a nasty stomach virus on Monday evening. He was feeling better by Wednesday, but last night Ronnie came down with the same thing.....ugh.

So, needless to say, we haven't been out of pajamas much this week, except to take a bath and put on clean pajamas. Although it's not one of the best weeks to remember in the baby book, we have had played alot and captured some cute pictures.

Here's to an illness free weekend.....

A day to catch our breath

It seems we've been going, running, working, and running some more for the last few months. Today is finally a day that Joshua and I are able to stay home and play! Woo hoo!!!!

My morning started off with a beautiful serenade

Joshua and I cut out snowflakes and pretended it was snowing again (wishful thinking)...

Practicing numbers and drawing some pictures

Joshua has the cars set up in the town, so we are off to create another adventure.....

Enjoy the day!

Happy, Merry, Happy

Happy Thanksgiving!

Merry Christmas!

Happy New Year!

It's been a whirlwind of holidays, but we've had a lot of fun! It seems every year once October 1st passes, that our lives spin out of control in warp speed. Will it ever slow down? I don't know, but we just try to enjoy each day.

We were so excited all week about the possibility of snow...and yes...we did get some!!! Not as much as we hoped for, but enough to have a little fun.
