Football!

Last Sunday we spent the afternoon with Matt, Anna, Madi and Andrew. Matt showed the kids the fundamentals of football and I believe they all learned quickly - catch the guy with the ball!

A funny for Friday

Joshua has been working on learning right and left. Today we were putting on a jacket to go outside and Joshua said "Right arm" as he was putting his right arm into the jacket. I said "Great! Now what's the other arm called?" So logically, Joshua said "Other arm." Yes, absolutely!

Last weekend we had a wonderful family stay with us. Here are a few pictures of Joshua, Billy and John Nathan.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar

This has become one of our favorite books to read. Joshua likes to read the story himself and tell us about each of the foods the caterpillar eats. I have to laugh when he gets to the sausage because he refuses to call it a sausage, but calls it a doughnut, because the picture shows the sausage cut into circles with a hole in the middle.

Today we made the hungry caterpillar and drew all the food that he ate and then we made a beautiful butterfly!
