Robot
In case you wonder what we do all day:
Today, as Joshua and I were unloading a box of diapers he put the empty box on his head and said, "I'm a robot, mommy!" So, we grabbed the markers, paper and scissors and started working. Joshua has such an aversion to costumes that I wondered if he would really like it once we were finished. It turned out really cute and he actually did put it on long enough for me to snap one picture with him smiling. Immediately after the picture was taken, he started saying, "Get it off of me, get it off of me." Since then he won't put it back on, but he likes to play with it. This afternoon we added a tube through the arm holes and it became a bridge for his cars.

I just showed him this post and picture and now he wants to turn it into an airplane!!! That's probably what we'll be doing on Monday!

Another great weekend
This past weekend we had the opportunity to travel to South Georgia and visit with Beth, Jabin, Lillie, and Becca. Joshua had a great time playing with Lillie and Becca. Unfortunately, somehow I didn't even click one picture!!! Don't ask, I have no good answer?!?! You can check on Lillie and Becca at Beth's blog by clicking here. Beth and Jabin were very gracious hosts and we enjoyed our visit. I'm hoping we will get to see them again very soon! (hint, hint)
Ronnie was blessed to preach on Friday night as well as Saturday morning. We had a wonderful time fellowshipping with all the people at the church. We look forward to visiting with them again soon also!
Thanks to everyone for a blessed weekend!
Since I didn't take any pictures from the weekend, I leave you with a few of the latest play-doh creations:

A great weekend
We had a wonderful weekend! On Saturday, we spent the day at Tallapoosa Primitive Baptist Church for their annual meeting. The Lord blessed the services with sweet fellowship. We have always enjoyed our visit with the Church as well as Brother James and Sister Kristin. Joshua, of course, had a wonderful time playing with Anna Kay and Alex. They are so sweet to Joshua. Alex even sent Joshua home with a big 'Mater truck that he has hardly put down since he got his hands on it!

On Sunday we were at Mt. Paran, where the Lord once again blessed Ronnie to preach a beautiful sermon. After the service, Brother Deron and Sister Laura came forward and requested their membership be transferred to Mt. Paran. The Lord has blessed Mt. Paran with several new members and many visitors in recent months. We are so thankful for these many blessings!
We spent the afternoon with Deron, Laura, Chris and Kathi and all the kids! Needless to say again, we had a wonderful weekend!!
Today, was also a very big day - it was Joshua's first day of Pre-K 3. His teacher, Miss Amy, said Joshua had a great first day!!

Fun crafts!
Joshua and I found a really fun website called No Time For Flashcards. Each day a new craft is posted and we have made a few, and there are so many cute ideas!! Joshua loves to color and paint and we have found so many fun activities to do together.
Here is the caterpillar we made today. Click on this link and you can see all of the directions for the caterpillar.

Believe it or not, my baby will be starting his Pre-K 3 class on Monday. It just doesn't seem possible that he will be 3 years old in October. He is growing up much too quickly....

From our garden
This morning Joshua and I went out to pick the lone cucumber. We have several other blooms, so surely there will be more cucumbers.
Joshua is getting to the age where he wants to pick out his own clothes and/or stay in his pajamas. Thus the Curious George pajama top!
He was just itching to pick one of the tomatoes!
