The sweetest day

It's been a very long week....and a very long year (yes, it's only February). January is always busy with getting year end completed and getting ready for tax season. Now, my employer is very active in the Haiti relief and helping to organize a prosthetic clinic for the many amputees in Haiti.

Joshua has been asking me all week if we could make cookies, so I promised that we would make them today. What fun! Even though it is close to Valentine's, he wanted to make Christmas tree cookies. So, of course, we did and mixed in a few snowmen and hearts.

Of course, it's not snowing here...again....it's only raining. We have had so much rain the past few days that we could paddle a boat in our backyard. We're still holding out for snow at some point this winter!

I always tell Joshua that he is THE sweetest baby in the world. Today he told me I was the best cookie maker in the world. Isn't that sweet? :)

Mary Kay - Helping Hands for Haiti
